Our goal: focus on the platforms and crypto assets that are defining the underlying protocols of Web3 and thus the globe’s emerging economic landscape — companies that are moving toward system impact by building platforms based on proof-of-stake with an established root of trust and well-defined rules.
Emerging blockchain-powered platforms can potentially bundle payment systems, property rights, identity, voting capabilities, credit and risk protection into a single application accessed by a cell phone. Crypto’s growing impact will be evident through peer-to-peer lending, smart contracts, NFTs, healthcare data management and considerably more.
The Team
Dusty began his career as an entrepreneur the day he graduated from college, launching two successful Fintech companies that are still in operation today. In addition to his companies, Mr. Field constructed his own bitcoin mining operation and established a track record in investing in the crypto currency market. Dusty is an active investor in alternative sectors, and has an extensive network in the blockchain sector with connections to leading entrepreneurs that possess hyperscale capability. Dusty is a graduate of East Carolina University and resides with his family in Cary NC.
Douglas has led three successful start-up ventures in Media and Education. Douglas’ primary skill set centers on effective communication based on his devotion to candor, relevance and timeliness. As a publisher and partner with Parents Plus, Inc., Douglas developed Boston Parents and other parenting media properties. Upon the sale of Parents Plus, Douglas launched Solomon Media LLC, a Fintech firm for the Education sector. The firm’s assets were acquired by Nelnet Inc. and soon after Douglas launched EEV Education, a BD consultancy. Douglas is a graduate of Stonehill College and resides with his family in Durham NC.
Nick is an experienced digital solutions architecture executive, having held leadership roles at Microsoft, Oracle and General Electric. Nick and his teams have accelerated the companies’ go-to-market transition strategies, and his track record centers on taking new businesses from zero to $1B+in revenue. Nick brings expertise in emerging technology, business transformation, and financial markets analysis. Nick is a graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology and has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Nick and his family reside in Raleigh NC..
